likes:
*Jokes – She's inherited her mother's sense of humor. She enjoys playing pranks, but it doesn't take up her life.
*Her family – Yeah, they're pretty awesome.
*Friends - Who doesn't like friends?
*Being pretty – Okay, so she's a little vain... no biggie.
*Adventure – She needs a little of it to get through life. Life shouldn't be boring.
*Magic – She grew up with it, it's all around her, there's no reason for her to not like it.
*Love – She loves to love and she loves to be loved, she's a very touchy kind of person.
*Dancing – It's fun. Enough said.
*Quidditch – Both of her parents played it, so naturally, she's pretty good at it as well.
*Hogwarts – despite what she might lead people to believe, she actually kind of enjoys being at school, though the classes are a pain in the rear end.
dislikes:
*Her name – Her middle name to be exact. It just sounds weird all together.
*Stuck up people – They just aren't any fun to be around.
*Being left behind – She's just hates when people she's close with do things without her if she thinks they are important.
*Crying – She's done it a lot lately, but she always tries to cry when no one can see her.
*Feeling vulnerable – It's just not pleasant.
*Being treated like a child – Even if she sometimes acts like one, she hates when people treat her like a kid.
*Bullies – Though she can be one herself, she always tells herself that she's only bullying other bullies, or if she teases someone that it's all in good fun.
*History of Magic – Even though she's awesome at it when they get to the part about the boy who lived
*Jellyfish – Well they're just scary!
strengths:
*Quidditch – She's a good player, but look at who she had to train her.
*Defense Against The Dark Arts – Again, her parents were pretty crucial to her development in that area.
*Looks – She's pretty, and looks a little older than she is, so she gets some attention from that.
weaknesses:
*Her looks – Yep, it's a weakness too. Sometimes it means older people like her more than they should.
*Rebellious – It sometimes gets her into more trouble than she needs to be in.
*Her family – She'd do anything for them
dementor: Getting lost at Platform 9 ¾ when her brother James started Hogwarts.
boggart: Lily fears never having really lived. This has led to her rebellious nature.
mirror of erised:
*To bring justice to her family by getting revenge on the person/group that killed her uncle
*Be thought of as more than “Potter's daughter.”
*That her parents would have thought of a better middle name than “Luna.”
amortentia: broom polish, cut grass, fresh cookies, bananas
veritaserum two secrets
*She is afraid to talk to Rose and Hugo because she's afraid she'll say something that upsets them now that Uncle Ron is gone.
*She does not know who she is or what she wants to be yet. And that terrifies her.
overall
A product of her parents:
There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that Lily is the daughter of Harry and Ginny Potter. She is a bit of a prankster like her mother and a bit rebellious like her father. While her appearance more closely resembles her mother, she's got the knack for getting into trouble that her father had so dearly clung to in his youth. She acts without thinking things through most of the time and she has a need for revenge (especially since the death of her father) that could rival anyone. She has inherited several of her mother's traits, such as impatience and the need to be included. She gets very upset when important information is kept from her and she's been known to jinx people in the hallways for little more than bumping into her or looking at her the wrong way.
Rebellious:
While she loves her parents, she also wants to be her own person. Lily has spent most of her life trying to figure out who she is, and she's still discovering, sometimes going out of her way to do so. For whatever reason, as soon as she's told she can't do something, that's exactly the thing she wants to do. She didn't grow up with really strict rules, and she doesn't think her parents would ever forbid her to do anything as long as it was safe and reasonable, but she does tend to disobey teachers and on occasion, her mother.
Flirty:
Lily has grown into her body, and at a sort of fast rate. She looks a little older than she really is, and she uses it to her advantage (though sometimes it becomes a disadvantage). She likes to flirt with people, though while she's built up an almost half-assed bad-girl image, she isn't exactly all that experienced, so sometimes her flirting isn't exactly effective. Usually, she comes off as cute and desirable. She loves to be admired in a romantic sort of way and can be very touchy-feely at times.
Fun:
Most of the time, Lily is fun to be around. She jokes around and plays pranks, but it's all in good fun. Sometimes, she can take a joke too far. Usually she doesn't intend to, but she has been known to talk about something longer than needed, or to bring up situations she found amusing too many times. For the most part, she's like her mother with this. Lily doesn't dedicate her life to playing tricks on people, but now and then she gets a straw up her bum and wants to pull a prank. She has a decent sense of humor and can usually take a joke aimed at her as well, as long as it isn't too terribly harmful.- - - - - - -
mother: Ginevra Potter
father: Harry Potter
siblings: James and Albus Potter
pets: Two brothers, just kidding, a cat named Cory
history:
Lily was born the third child and only female to Harry and Ginny Potter. Her blood status is a bit confusing, as Ginny is from the pureblooded Weasley family, and while Harry's parents both attended Hogwarts, his mother was muggle-born. Now whenever she is asked, though it's not often since she's not exactly unknown, she just says she's somewhere in between. She was named after her father's mother, who also had the dreaded idea to pair Luna with it as a middle name. Most people think that she's named after Luna Lovegood, but that isn't entirely the case. Luna was a reference to the moon and one of the marauders, Remus Lupin. Lily's family and their history are well known. Ginny Potter was a professional Quidditch player before she became the lead Quidditch Correspondent for the Daily Prophet, and Harry Potter was an Auror, the man who defeated Lord Voldemort, and commonly known as the boy who lived.
With parents like those, it's hard to go unnoticed. Yet somehow, Lily felt herself wondering if her brothers got more attention that she did. Of course, they didn't, Lily just felt left behind sometimes, for instance, when her brothers went to Hogwarts and she wasn't old enough to go. She had run after the train, waving and calling to her brothers who probably hadn't been able to hear her. She wanted to go to Hogwarts so bad. It was funny to hear her mum talk about how she had felt the exact same way when Lily's uncles had gone off to school, leaving Ginny behind. But really Lily never lacked anything. If she needed something her parents would give it to her and she was close to her brothers and her cousins.
At first her school years were pretty typical for a girl of her age. She did have to learn to adjust to her name (especially her last name) being well known, if not famous. Everyone knew about Harry Potter, they taught things about him in history classes for Merlin's sake! Her brothers had warned her, in all fairness. But after she became a part of the every-day scenery, she made some friends and began to make her own name for herself. She isn't exactly sure when she decided it, but somewhere along the line, Lily decided that if they were going to be talking about her, she was going to set herself apart from her family. It started with her confidence. She walked differently, talked more, and flirted constantly. Her home personality started to be separate from her school personality. Teachers began sending owls to her parents, though they were never anything bad, just concerns about the change in behavior.
During her third year she started to dress differently. Her clothes were tighter and a little more revealing as she began to grow into her body. She became more daring with her pranks and developed more of what she refered to as a Weasley personality, though she was really only referring to her mother and her uncles (one of which she never got to meet) Fred and George. She was respectful to her elders (parents and teachers) but she didn't always do exactly as she was told, either. She also started dating, something she still thinks her father hated. She was a woman who couldn't make up her mind and had several boyfriends, though none of them really lasted very long. Her first break up was a horrible experience and after that she put up a wall. She wanted to look tough, no one would ever see her cry she vowed (though that wasn't possible because someone was always around). She didn't want to look weak.
Her fourth and fifth years passed in a blur. She took her OWLS and got reasonable grades. Not great, mind you, but decent. At least she passed everything, if only barely in a subject or two. This is about the time most students would be thinking about what they want to be when they grew up. Lily was no exception, but there was a problem for her. She was still finding out who she was, so she didn't want to commit to any specific career. Perhaps she could be a Quidditch player like her mother had been. She was under the impression that her grades weren't good enough to be an Auror like her father.
This is the debate that has been going on in her head ever since. She's in her sixth year at Hogwarts and her goal is to finally figure out what she wants to do... and have as much fun doing it along the way as possible.- - - - - - -

sample:Since her father had died, Lily's days fell into two categories: good and bad. If she was being completely honest, even the good ones weren't a big step up from the bad ones, it just meant that she didn't drink. Lily drank a lot these days. Whether because she wanted to forget things or because she was too stressed out worrying about other things didn't seem to matter. She wanted to go back to a time where her life made sense and right now, that just wasn't going to happen. Her father was gone. The one person everyone thought was invincible. The red-headed girl remembered a time when even she believed that. No one could harm her father. He had been the one to defeat the Dark Lord. How could he have died? It didn't make sense. After that day everything had just screwed up. For whatever reason, whoever had murdered her father had left behind his wand. The same wand that Harry had fixed with the Elder Wand before putting it back where it belonged. And now it was Lily's wand. When she had finally been allowed to see her father and sometime before Albus had to practically pull her away, Lily had come in contact with the wand and was now currently using it as her own.
She hadn't heard of anything like that. A wand that hadn't been hers originally and one she hadn't won from anyone, was now working for her better than her old one. Lily wasn't sure whether she should be happy that she had something of her father's, or terribly afraid because of what the wand had gone through. She wouldn't admit it to her mother. Ginny Weasley was probably way too worried about her children as it was since Harry was gone. She might have told Albus, but he probably already knew that she was a little uneasy. She may have even confided in her cousin Rose if Lily didn't think her red-haired cousin might judge her just a little. Even Rose probably knew something was wrong though. Lily wasn't hiding her grief as well as she would have liked.
So even though Lily wasn't a fan of studying and research, she found herself in the library more than she might have the previous year. She needed to find out what it meant that she now had a new wand. And she needed to get her mind off of everything. Hopefully a bit of reading would do that. She pulled out her flash and took a drink from it before making sure no one was around to see her. Then she hid it back in her robes and continued reading. It wasn't long before she was starting to drift off. Her eyes closed and her chin tucked down on her chest.
